vampires and beasts

“To the world that I will miss.  I give you this letter of regret.  I will no longer be with the living and I will kill any who disturb my rest.  For I need my century of sleep to keep myself from dieing.  For this I leave you with my lady islanzadie in charge of my vampire life and their homes and feast.  Here I lie myself to sleep, and I will leave for just a liege.”  There she lays herself to sleep and waiting for the next century where she will rule.

Century later…
“We need to wake her soon our world has fallen to chaos,” Said a dark haired woman  “The others think it is unsafe to wake her sooner than she is to be” a young mans voice came from across the room.  As the room filled with angry voices the young woman replied “we only have a couple more days until she has to rise we can wait.” The room filled again with the vampires voicing their own opinions about when they should awake monic, when a young woman stood up and said “we should take a vote on what we should do” “ok since that is the way you all feel lets take a vote on what we should do, who thinks we should wake her now?”  She counted “1,2,3…30,31,32 of you think we should wake her now.  Who thinks we should wake her the day of her arrival?” the vamps start to raise their hands, for her to count a voice came from a corner of the room.  “My lady islanzadie I don’t seem to sound like I am rushing but we are running out of time we cant sit here and let our race be destroyed, we need to do something about it” the room became quiet as the young male stood up and voiced his opinion about what they should do.  “I think we should wake her a couple days early for we cant wait to long or she will die in her sleep, and we will be extinct.”

later that day they decided to wake poor monic from her sleep, when she was wakened to find that everything she had worked hard on was being destroyed by these big hairy beast.  “What has happened to you all, you have become cowards?  Staying down here and hiding like your life is nothing, you all should be fighting for the right to live on this earth just as much as those dirty damned beasts.  Why must you displease me for, what have I don’t for you and all you do is run and hide.” “Your mistress we are sorry but they out number us…” yelling at the top of her lungs “and we are stronger and faster than they are” “Sorry we have displeased you that much we will stand and fight but we did not know what to do?” “I guess I have to take matters into my own hands.”
Walking away from the table monic said “We will put a defense barrier to at least keep them out send about 20 men out there to build it” “yes mam” the young vampire walked out of the room leaving monic to ponder what they were running from, how big these beast are and how to kill them and there hole entire race itself.
